The Vibro-Tactile Sensory Corner is a portable modular space that offers a full-body experience for your client. The corner contains two stereo speakers that may be connected to our amplifier to provide. The platform fits against padded walls on two sides. The other sides are enclosed by a 10" retaining wall. The entire corner may be taken apart, folded, and put away for future use.
Our Vibro-Tactile Sensory Corner was developed for your over-stimulated, difficult to calm child. The vibration from the floor gives the child an overall calming sensation. It is a great place to perform tasks that require increased attention. This corner is a full body experience for your client. Lie about or roll around in the soft cushioned floor space while soothing music vibrations impart a calming therapeutic effect. An ideal location for children to spend “time out” or “nap time”.
The 52” x 76” Play floor mat is 6” high and is covered in hospital-approved vinyl, which is fluid-proof, non-allergenic, and bacteria-resistant. Two sides of the platform are tucked against a corner wall, while the two open sides have 10”H x 4”W perimeter bolster pads and are covered in superior grade heavy-duty rip-stop vinyl.
The 60” high wall mats are 1.5” thick and are also made from the same non-lead, non-phthalate material as the rest of the corner and are mounted to the existing walls using Velstick, allowing the mats to be easily removed from the wall.
