TherAdapt Vertical Stander

The TherAdapt Vertical Stander is recommended for use with children with special needs who require support in standing but have head control and emerging trunk control. Best suited for minimally to moderately physically involved children, the TherAdapt Vertical Stander provides upright support and vertical alignment while still enabling freedom of movement to move the head, trunk, and upper extremities in all directions.

Featuring a padded swing-away pelvic block for easy transfers to and from the stander, the TherAdapt Vertical Stander is a heavy-duty stander for preschool age children up to elementary/secondary school age children. Height, width and depth adjustable anterior knee blocks are also included to promote proper lower extremity support and alignment.

An optional Trunk Kit is available separately to provide lateral and posterior support until the child is able to safely maintain independent control of his or her trunk in standing. Therapists will appreciate the clever design that will provide the perfect tool for progressing a child from trunk supported standing to standing with no trunk support.

Standard Features Include:

• Height, width, and depth adjustable padded swing away pelvic block and strap
• Padded height, width, and depth adjustable anterior knee block
• Depth adjustable, large double footwell with nonskid tread for lower extremity support and alignment
• The Primary Intermediate Vertical Stander comes with “outriggers” for increased lateral stability and transport wheels to ease moving it from place to place.
