Description
Description
A tripod support at each end gives the SportsPlay Modern Tripod Swing Set its shape, and the whole frame is galvanized steel pipe, 2-3/8" OD, from the legs to the top rail. Choose between an 8 foot and a 10 foot top rail, then size the frame by bays, from one bay up to four, with two seats per bay.
A complete set adds hangers, chain, and seats to the frame, while frame-only versions let you order less. Every version is delivered knocked down.
Why You'll Love It
- Tripod support at each end of the frame
- Top rail heights of 8' and 10'
- From one bay to four, each with a pair of seats
- Legs and top rail use matching galvanized pipe, 2-3/8" OD
- Ready-to-hang complete sets, plus frame-only versions
- Ships as a knocked-down kit, plus instructions and a list of parts
- Manufactured by SportsPlay Equipment in Park Hills, Missouri
Heights and Bays
The 8' top rail gives a 32' wide use zone and the 10' top rail a 40' wide zone. The other side of the zone depends on how many bays you add:
- At 8': 32' x 33' for 1 bay, 32' x 44' for 2, 32' x 55' for 3, and 32' x 66' for 4
- At 10': 40' x 31' for 1 bay, 40' x 42' for 2, 40' x 53' for 3, and 40' x 64' for 4
At 10' the second number is 2' shorter than at 8', so read the table instead of assuming a taller frame needs more room in every direction.
Ordering Options
If you want swings ready to hang, order the complete set; if you are buying some parts elsewhere, order the frame alone. These versions are available:
- Complete swing set with seats and chain
- Standard hangers with the frame
- Heavy-duty hangers with the frame
- Frame on its own
Mapping the Use Zone
Every height and bay count has its own use zone, SKU, and shipping weight in the specifications table. Compare those numbers with your site before you commit.
Where It Fits
This swing set works at any site that needs a tall, classic swing frame:
- School campuses
- Public parks
- Residential-community playgrounds
- Church and camp grounds
You can buy the SportsPlay Modern Tripod Swing Set from eSpecial Needs.
