Description
Description
A single 4.5" OD post holds up each end of the top rail on the SportsPlay Single Post Swing Set, and the rail itself is 2-3/8" OD. Every frame is 8 feet high and is built from 1 to 4 bays.
Buy the swings complete, including seats, chain and hangers, or buy only the frame. Installation means digging footings for the posts, and delivery is as a kit.
Why You'll Love It
- Straight single posts supporting the rail
- Rail sized 2-3/8" OD on posts sized 4.5" OD
- One height: 8'
- Bay choices: one to four
- Two ways to buy: complete or frame alone
- Posts need footings in the ground
- Fabricated by SportsPlay Equipment in Park Hills, Missouri
Post and Rail Sizes
The posts are 4.5" OD and the rail is 2-3/8" OD, which makes the posts the larger pipe.
Because height and post size are fixed, the number of bays is the only decision.
Bays and Use Zones
- One bay: 32' x 24'
- Two bays: 32' x 36'
- Three bays: 32' x 48'
- Four bays: 32' x 60'
Versions Offered
Complete sets add seats, chain, and hangers to the frame. Three frame-only choices also exist:
- With regular hangers
- With heavy-duty hangers
- Without hangers
Site Planning
Decide footing size and surfacing thickness with your installer ahead of delivery, then mark the zone at the site.
Where It Fits
Single post swings suit sites that want a straightforward 8 foot frame:
- Campus recreation areas
- Town and village parks
- Church and community grounds
- Resort and campground play areas
SportsPlay Equipment makes the Single Post Swing Set, and eSpecial Needs carries it.
Why We Like It
We like the SportsPlay Single Post Swing Set because one post holds up each end of the rail. Decide the bays your site can hold. Complete sets add seats, chain, and hangers.
