Description
Description
The Happening Hollow is a six-sided (hexagon) gathering space designed to bring a bright, cozy reading corner into a classroom or daycare setting. Rather than leaving children to find a quiet spot in an open room, it carves out a dedicated, visually inviting nook where kids can settle in with a book or simply slow down for a moment of rest. Its rainbow palette is meant to make that corner feel welcoming and fun rather than just functional.
This piece is best suited for early childhood classrooms and daycare environments looking to create a defined reading or conversation area for young children, including toddlers who need a calm spot to rest during the day. Because it has a fixed hexagon footprint rather than a flexible, modular layout, it's less ideal for classrooms that need to constantly reconfigure floor space for large-group activities - it's built to be a stationary cozy corner, not an adaptable seating system.
Key Features & Benefits
- Six-sided (hexagon) design - Creates a clearly defined gathering space within a classroom, giving children a sense of "their own corner" for reading or quiet time rather than open, undefined floor space.
- 7 pieces in 7 rainbow colors - Delivers a bright, multicolored look that makes the reading or conversation area visually engaging for young children.
- Cozy corner design - Suited to both "bookworms" who want a quiet reading spot and tired toddlers who need a place to rest, giving caregivers a go-to calm-down or quiet-activity area.
- Supports social conversation and reading areas - The enclosed shape naturally draws small groups together, making it a fit for classroom reading circles or quiet conversation nooks.
- Floor Space: 75"L x 65"W x 13.75"H
