Description
This swivel turns 360 degrees with less tangling or wrapping the chains and has a top plate for added strength. Universal joints are covered with a rubber boot for finger protection. Painted with rust proof enamel in red. It has 2 plates that are 5 ½ ” x 5 1/2” with four ½ ” holes that are 3 5/8” center to center. There is a welded nut securing the swivel to the plate. It hangs down 10 1/2″ from pipe. Nuts and bolts not included. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. 10.3 lbs. each. Tensile strength 16000 lbs.

- Check eye bolt for loose nuts or movement. Tighten if necessary.

Check eye bolt for wear at the point where it rubs against the safety snap. If wear exists, it should not exceed 30% of the diameter of the eye bolt. If it does, discontinue use immediately and replace the eye bolt. (See figure below).
