Developing Basic Scissor Skills

Step-by-step instructional manual. Classroom tested activities take students of all abilities through 14 levels to achieve proficiency. Total of 38 fun activities cover pre-scissor hand skills through cutting out complex forms with curves. Also discusses topics such as posture, sequence of skill development, adapting furniture to fit the child, and various scissor styles.

Guidance is given on the use of non-conventional scissors for the child with special needs. 20 double-sided work cards in a separate plastic pouch provide materials for each level.
