The Convaid Safari Tilt Transit Stroller tilts in space, as its name implies, specifically designed for individuals who need an adjustable tilt and/or recline. Its durability, lightweight, and compact-folding portability make it the ideal choice for portability.
The Convaid Safari features include an extended range of tilt for feeding, stabilizing and comfort; a flat planar seat for solid support. Plus, its able to withstand WC/19 crash-test requirements, dynamically tested at 30 mph/20 g deceleration*. Essentially, it's been designed to provide four specific attachment points that facilitate proper and effective securement of the wheelchair facing forward in vehicles. It does so by using a four-point, strap-type tie down that complies with SAE J2249 Wheelchair Tie down and Occupant Restraint Systems for Use in Motor Vehicles.
The Convaid Safari Transit is also available in a Basic model when bus or van transport is not a necessity.
