Today we're going to be taking a look at the Broda aspire Pediatric Glider. The glider can provide kiddos with a little extra vestibular motion in the home, classroom or clinic. It can be great for quiet reading time or game time. The Pediatric Glider ships fully assembled, so there should be no need to set it up.
It's relatively simple to use. In this video, Chad Emriy from Broda will show us the Gliding Motion, armrests comfort, tension seating, chest furnace caregiver lock and transport wheels of the Broda. Aspire Pediatric Glider, I'll demonstrate the gliding motion.
There are height adjustable armrests right below the Broda logo. It's got a push pin assembly here. You squeeze the trigger, you can raise up the armrest to adjust the height of the armrest so our comfort tension seating is behind the padding. And so this contours the patient's body. And so this is our optional chest harness that attaches to the back of the frame to secure the patient.
The locking mechanism is behind the pad here. So to access the locking mechanism to lock the rocker, just pull out on the lever and lock it into place. So now it's disabled to reactivate that pull out and turn it to the left. And I've activated the gliding motion.
Transport wheels are on the bottom of the frame. To move the chair, you'll just tip the chair back to transport. Remember, never leave the user unattended. Only place the chair on a level surface and do not put near and open flames.
