Who can enter the Halloween costume contest?
This contest celebrates individuals with special needs. Parents, guardians, and caregivers are welcome to help with costume photos and completing the entry form.
When is the entry deadline?
Our proposed 2026 entry deadline is November 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time. Please confirm the final schedule before entering.
How will winners be chosen?
Following the approach used in 2025, finalists are planned to be featured for public voting on our Facebook and Instagram pages. The specific 2026 voting schedule and judging rules will be confirmed before the contest begins.
What do winners receive?
Three winners are planned to receive a $75 eSpecial Needs gift card each.
Can I enter with an adaptive or sensory friendly costume?
Absolutely! Wheelchair costumes, adapted designs, sensory friendly outfits, handmade costumes, and other imaginative creations are welcome.
Where will winners be announced?
We plan to announce winners on our social channels and contact winners using the email submitted with the entry, consistent with last year's contest.
