Description
Description
A complete wheelchair-accessible swing system, choose a Permanent or Portable frame with or without the wheelchair platform, so children who use wheelchairs can roll onto the swing and ride alongside their peers. The wheelchair platform is 12-gauge sheet steel, 3/4" flattened and punched, plastisol coated and oven cured. The frame uses 13-gauge 2 3/8" OD FloCoat steel. Also compatible with the JennSwing ADA seat.
Features & Benefits
- Wheelchair roll-on platform - 12-gauge steel deck, plastisol coated, lets a non-motorized wheelchair roll on and be secured before swinging.
- Permanent or Portable frame - the Portable version can be relocated; the Permanent version is ground-anchored for fixed installations.
- FloCoat galvanized steel frame - 13-gauge 2 3/8" OD triple-coat corrosion protection throughout.
- JennSwing compatible - the frame also accepts the JennSwing ADA seat, so you can pair a wheelchair bay and a JennSwing bay side by side.
- Standard or HD hangers available.
Perfect For
- ADA and inclusive playgrounds - the most direct way to add a wheelchair-accessible swing to a new or existing playground.
- Schools and parks meeting ADA accessibility requirements.
- Therapeutic settings - vestibular input from swinging in a supported wheelchair position for children with disabilities.
