Use the Transfer and Stand-Up slings in conjunction with the Stand-Assist Lift for transferring patients, standing assistance and quick toileting.
The Transfer Sling should be used for transferring a patient from bed to chair or chair to car, and for general in-room transport. Do not raise patients to a full standing position while using this sling.
Instead, the Stand-Up Sling should be used for standing assistance, toileting and weight-bearing practice, as well as for transferring patients from bed to chair or chair to bed. Residents must have at least 60 percent weight-bearing capacity.
