ARK's Y-Chew® is another great product to assist in oral exploration and to increase movement of the tongue, lips, and jaw. It can also be used to develop biting and chewing skills and to decrease sensitivities to texture.
Because ARK's Y-Chew® is a non-food item, you can avoid the risk of choking when working on feeding skills. The handle of the Y-Chew makes it easy for the therapist or individual to hold. The top part of the 'Y' makes it easy to reach the upper and lower back molar area. Ideal use as an oral motor tool or to use as an arousal tool for those who chew to help control their arousal and assist with attention to task.
ARK's Y-Chew® provides an opportunity for the mouth to play through jaw movement, tongue movement, and oral exploration. The resilient, medical grade materials are FDA approved and contain no latex, lead, PVC, or phthalates. Made in the USA.
The yellow Y-Chew® is made of a softer plastic compound then the spearmint Y-Chew XT.
Made of FDA approved soft plastic, it's a mouthing tool that is easy to hold and exceptionally resilient.
